Hunters, Floaters and Sinkers is, perhaps, Adolf's best known painting. He began to developed the concept in the late 1970's. The XXX Observatory has an early study. He then painted a version for the "Cosmos Series" (1980) with Carl Sagan. The version you see here was painted in 2012 to the level of completion Adolf had always envisioned.
